Lawrence suffered a concussion on Sunday from a hit laid by Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair. The hit knocked Lawrence from the game and incited a brawl between the Texans and Jaguars as players from both sides reacted emotionally.

The three-game suspension imposed by the NFL on Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was upheld on appeal Wednesday. Al-Shaair was suspended after being ejected from Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars for an illegal hit on quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who sustained a concussion on the play.

The Jaguars fell to 2-10 on the season after Week 13's loss to the Texans but the team added a pass catcher to help QB Mac Jones.
