The Oklahoma Supreme Court will hear arguments on a ballot harvesting case involving the Republican primary for State Senate District 15 on Tuesday.

With just 47 days to go until he takes office, Trump is still facing a battle with the Senate over his Cabinet nominees.

The hearing was held in front of Oklahoma Supreme Court Referee Cassandra Holden, a staff attorney for the court. Holden heard arguments from both sides. After the hearing, she said she would submit a report to the state Supreme Court's eight justices.

Robert Keyes lost the Primary Election in August for District 15. He fell to Lisa Standridge. He took his claims of fraud to the state Supreme Court on Tuesday, alleging that his opponent harvested illegal ballots and handed them in to the election board. He wants a recount and a trial court to hear his case.

Incumbent District 1 Oklahoma County Commissioner Carrie Blumert will face Willard Linzy in the general election on Nov. 8.
