Washington, D.C.’s attorney general sued Amazon on Wednesday, accusing the company of covertly depriving residents in certain ZIP codes in the nation’s capital from access to Prime’s high-speed delivery.

Amazon quietly carved out two Washington, DC zip codes from being serviced by its fastest Prime delivery service with its own branded trucks, outsourcing deliveries to slower services like UPS and the Postal Service,

The District of Columbia’s attorney general said the company deliberately outsourced Prime member deliveries in certain ZIP codes.

In a lawsuit filed in District of Columbia Superior Court, the district alleged that Amazon stopped fast deliveries service to two neighborhoods in the city.
